Join us: Current students

We are always looking for new members to join our club and offer opportunities for current students and alumni of all experience levels, from beginners through to elite level performers, to play basketball on a competitive and/or recreational basis.

Competition Teams

We have two men’s teams and a women’s team that compete in British University & Colleges Sports (BUCS) competitions. We also have a men’s team consisting of current students and alumni who compete in the Basketball England National League, which is a national club competition.

Whether you are a prospective student, current student or alumni, if you are interested in joining one of our competitive teams, contact us by email to info@uocbasketball.co.uk with the following information:

  • Student status (prospective, current or alumni)
  • Recent playing history i.e. recent club, individual or team honours and any statistics;
  • Links to highlights and/or full games.

Recreational

Recreational basketball is open to current students, alumni and staff. If you are a current or prospective, alumni or staff member interested in joining to play recreational, or if you want to find out more then contact us by email to info@uocbasketball.co.uk with the following information:

  • Student status (prospective, current, alumni or staff);
  • Previous experience (if any).
